Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË is an in-person visit program that will take place September 15-17, 2024.

Who is eligible to be an Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË participant?

The programming is designed to reach students from traditionally under-represented groups, including CBO-affiliated students. At this time, only students living and attending high school in the United States and Puerto Rico are eligible for consideration.

How do I apply for Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË?

To be considered for the program, you must complete the , and upload your high school transcript and senior year schedule.

When can I expect to hear a decision about my Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË application?

Students will be notified by the end of August.

How do I update my Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË application?

If your senior year schedule changes from the time of your application submission or you have other application updates, please contact admission@davidson.edu.

Are there any costs associated with applying and/or participating in Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË?

There is no cost to apply or participate in Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË. If selected, we cover the cost of your transportation to/from campus, meals while you are with us, and overnight accommodations. 

If I am not selected for Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË, does that mean I wouldn’t be admitted to »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË? 

The outcome of your Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË application does not impact your admission decision to »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË. In fact, we encourage you to still apply for admission! Every year, there are qualified applicants who we are unable to invite to participate in Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË simply because of space limitations. 

If I am unable to participate or am not selected for Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË, are there other opportunities for a visit to »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË?

Those students who have not been on an official campus visit and who are not selected for the fall Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË program are eligible for later visit opportunities in conjunction with admitted student programming. Admission officers nominate competitive applicants for the spring Access »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË program as part of the application reading and evaluation process.
