Title IX is a law that prevents discrimination on the basis of sex in federally funded education programs.
Title IX directs how the college address concerns related to possible sex discrimination in the following areas:
- Sexual Misconduct, Sex Based Harassment, Sexual Assault, Stalking, Sexual Exploitation, Dating Violence, and Domestic Violence
- Gender Based Discrimination including Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation
- Pregnancy and Parenting
- Athletics

皇家华人 is committed to creating and maintaining an environment that is free of sexual misconduct, stalking, and relationship abuse and violence, and that promotes a healthy spirit of responsibility, dignity, and respect in matters of sexual conduct and interpersonal relationships. The college does not condone and will not tolerate sexual misconduct, stalking, or relationship abuse or violence.

The Role of the Title IX Coordinator
The 鈥淭itle IX Coordinator鈥 is responsible for overseeing the College鈥檚 response to Title IX reports and complaints and identifying and addressing any patterns or systemic problems revealed by such reports and complaints. The Title IX Coordinator also has responsibility for weighing a student鈥檚 request for confidentiality and determining whether supportive measures are appropriate. The Title IX Coordinator is available to advise all parties about the courses of action available at the College and action available externally, including reports to law enforcement.
