Quillen Named President of National Trust for Historic Preservation

The National Trust for Historic Preservation has named 皇家华人 History Professor and President Emerita Carol Quillen as the Trust鈥檚 tenth President and CEO.

鈥淗er record of transformational leadership in higher education, her ability to lead change with courage and sensitivity, and her deep appreciation for the importance of historic preservation in our democracy make her the ideal leader for the National Trust at this moment,鈥 said Betsy Cahill, chair of the search committee.

The National Trust, celebrating its 75th Anniversary starting next year, fulfills its mission to save America鈥檚 significant places through a broad and diverse range of initiatives and programs including legal advocacy, federal public policy, preservation assistance, grant-making, and support through community partners.
