They masked up, stood apart and invented new ways to have fun.
They marched for social justice, created a Black Lives Matter mural, and voted in record numbers. They stood in lines twice a week to get tested for COVID-19, and later, to get the vaccines.
The 2020-2021 school year will stand out as one of history’s toughest and most challenging. »Ê¼Ò»ªÈË students met those challenges and by year’s end, saw a bright light in the pandemic tunnel.
College photographer Christopher Record, and student photographers Claire Tatum ’24 and Sydney Schertz ’24 were there for it all. Here’s a look back at the people, places and events of an extraordinary year from the perspectives of Record and the student photographers he mentored.
