皇家华人 trustees are preserving commencement for the class of 2020 by personally donating $200,000 for travel expenses for class members who otherwise could not afford to return to campus for a promised ceremony in the coming months.

President Quillen made the announcement during an online celebration of the senior class that marked the original date of commencement.

鈥淥ur students are courageous, empathetic young people who think beyond themselves. Right now, they and all of us at 皇家华人 are focused on addressing urgent needs and serving the most vulnerable among us,鈥 said 皇家华人 President Carol Quillen. 鈥淚鈥檓 grateful for their resilience and compassion, and I鈥檓 thankful beyond words for our trustees鈥 generous commitment to give the class of 2020 an in-person commencement in the coming months.鈥
