ESPN: Profile of Andrea Peet ’03, Three Years After ALS Diagnosis

July 25, 2017

Andrea Lytle Peet '03 is profiled on ESPNW.com, the ESPN subsidiary focused on women in sports. An accomplished triathlete, Peet was diagnosed with ALS in 2014 and has since competed in dozens of races and, through the Team Drea Foundation, raised more than $150,000 to find a cure for the neurological disease.

"When you are diagnosed with ALS, you can completely shut yourself in or you can have the opposite response, which is what Andrea has had," Peet's husband Dave says. "She's transformed into this force of nature."

One other note: Anna Katherine Clemmons '01 penned the moving profile.
